Another Update...

I am sorry I have not updated.

-The missions team had only one problem with their van, they needed to replace the fuel pump. They got that done. Thank GOD they did arrive there safely and passed the border with no trouble. When they passed over, they had an authentic Mexican meal of fajitas. They also had cactus. Jordan said the cactus tasted like okra. They had a blessed three days in Mexico doing God's work. Tonight they are in Corpus Christi, Texas. They are going to go swimming in the Gulf of Mexico. Pray they don't get stung by a Jelly Fish!

Keep praying...

We don't know where they are right now, they are probably in Mexico. Yesterday they had to change the fuel pump, so keep praying that they won't have anymore car troubles.

Prayer, please...

Please pray for my older sister as she is going on a missions trip to Mexico. She and a group of fellow believers are going to Nuevo Laredo to help the people there. They do not have anything. Pray that the trip will be successful. The guy in charge said that they will do more work in three days than the Mexicans can do in years.
Praise God that they fixed something wrong in their car!

Wisdom and Fools

Proverbs 1:7-9

'The fear of the Lord is the begginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction against the enticement of sinners. My son hear the instruction of thy father, and forske not the law of your mother. For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head and chains about thy neck.'

The Bible has quite a few verses on fools and how they,

'Despise wisdom and instruction.'

We have been reading Proverbs in our family Bibletime, and we read quite a few verses about wisdom and instruction.

'To know wisdom and instruction , to perceive the words of understanding.'

Proverbs 1:2

And Proverbs 1:5 says, (I will be quoting quite a bit of scripture)

'A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels.'

Also, as Proverbs 3:53 says,

'Wise inherit honor, but fools, he holds up to shame.'

and Proverbs 10:14,

Wisemen store up knowledg, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin.'

Read Proverbs sometime, you will find alot of verses about 'wisdom and fools'.

William Shakespeare...

Everybody should have heard about him, right? He's the guy who made interesting plays like,

• Much Ado About Nothing
• King Richard the Third
• Taming of the Shrew
• and the famous Romeo and Juliet.

Romeo and Juliet is a (or maybe not) a favorite to all.

"Oh Romeo! Where art thou my Romeo!"

It's a story of two lovers who are madly in love, but they cannot get married. So they drink poison together and they died together!

That William Shakespeare has coined words? Here are some of them,

There are more, but I am not going to list them.

This guy put his WHOLE heart and soul and mind into his work.

Jordan really likes his plays and has been reading them and telling me to read them. I will. They do sound funny and interesting.

Today was a beautiful Spring day! The kids had a BLAST building this today (and I had a blast taking pictures!) It was very sunny and got a little hot.

I didn't help make it, but came out later for some fun!

Boy, do I love those kids!


Isaac, the building genius out of all of us kids, started the whole thing and Rebekah came in to send word to

'Get the camera, QUICK, before it melts!'

Rebekah is hilarious.

There goes Isaac. I am very surprised I got this one. But, with a quick camera, AND a boy who jumps when told. I got this!
