A Non-dull moment!

The other day we had spaghetti and a noodle/pea salad with mayo for lunch.  This is the conversation that took place:

Gideon: Can I have some more noodles please?
Jordan: Can you be more specific?
Gideon (misunderstanding her and thinking she asked him to be more polite): Please may I have some more noodles please?
Me: No, Gideon, do you want spaghetti or mayo noodles?
Gideon (laughing): I want spaghetti!  (To Jordan jokingly)  I don't want mayo noodles, I want female noodles!

When we got a box of books in the mail that my mom had ordered, all of us children crowded around her to see what was inside.  She pulled out cd's, books, movies, until  she came to a cd called 'Providential Battles'.  Here she announced, "We will be studying different battles that have happened in history."  My little 6 year old sister, wide eyed and bright eyed,  piped up, "Cool!  Like the Silver War?"
