My November Friend

My sorrow, when she’s here with me,
Thinks these dark days of autumn rain
Are beautiful as days can be;
She loves bare, the withered tree;
She walks the sodden pasture lane.

Her pleasure will not let me stay.
She talks and I am fain to list:
She’s glad the birds are gone away,
She’s glad her simple worsted grey

The beauties she so truly sees,
She thinks I have no eye for these,
And vexes me of reason why.

Random Happiness...

  I have eleven  followers!! I know most of you have at least 40, but, for someone who posts once in a blue moon,  I think eleven followers are pretty good.
 Anyway, just letting you know that my story is on my note pad, the song is scheduled, another short story (I didn't write is scheduled), I am boggling poems around in my mind and the pictures are  being chosen for your enjoyment.

Dakota...

Here (finally) is our new puppy.  He has been a bit of a challenge, but he sure has been fun!

His name is Dakota and he is a Yellow Lab.

Our Grandpa brought him to our house on the 15th.  He was born July 29th.

God...

God is so beautiful.

He is so wonderful.

His love endures forever

Praise Him.

He is good.

He is perfect.

To a Dear Dog...

Our dog, Cocoa, died, Saturday, July 24nd, 2010. She was eight years old. She was the best dog anyone could ever have. She loved strangers especially the UPS man and was also very patient and kind with the little kids. Her favorite game was catch and she loved chasing us kids around the house.

We all loved her very much.
